Account and data deletion
Ride Glide passengers, Drive Glide chauffeurs, and Glide Fleet operators can request deletion from Glide Group Inc. using the steps below.
Submit a request
- Email [email protected] with the subject “Glide account and data deletion request.”
- Send the request from the email address associated with your account when possible. Identify the app or apps you use and provide the account email address or phone number. Glide Fleet users should also identify their fleet.
- Complete any identity or authority verification we request. Do not send a password, one-time verification code, full payment-card number, or government identification document unless support first provides an approved secure method and explains why it is needed.
What the request covers
You may ask us to delete your Glide account and personal data associated with Ride Glide, Drive Glide, or Glide Fleet. Tell us whether you want to delete one product profile or all profiles connected to your identity. Deleting an account can remove access to trip history, fleet tools, and other account features.
A Glide Fleet request to delete an individual login is different from a request to close a fleet organization or delete fleet business records. We may need to confirm that the requester is authorized to act for the fleet before changing organization-controlled data.
Data that may remain
We evaluate verified requests and act on them as required by applicable law. Information covered by a request may be deleted or de-identified, while other information may need to be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Retention depends on the data category and the reason it is kept. Transportation fleets and service providers may also keep records under their own legal or operational responsibilities.
Device cookies, WebView website storage, or cached files may remain after sign-out or an account request. Depending on the operating system, local copies may be removable through app or device controls or by removing the app.
